JD UP Careers Event

On Friday, February 28th, JD Sports hosted its largest-ever JD UP careers event at the Manchester Central Convention Complex. Forty Year 10 students had the exciting opportunity to attend, joining young people from 51 local schools. The event featured a mix of auditorium presentations and hands-on career exploration activities. Students interacted with top brands such as Nike, Montirex, and The North Face, and had the chance to hear from JD’s Chair and Managing Director, as well as social media influencer Angry Ginge, who shared his personal career story. Newhouse students represented their school with outstanding behaviour and a positive attitude throughout the day, making staff members incredibly proud.
