Year 11 Assessment and Examination Information

Our Exams Officer is Mrs Forster and she will lead on all formal assessments and examinations in school.

Dates for Year 11 Formal Assessments in the Hall:

17th – 28th November 2025
25th February – 13th March 2026

Students must check the spelling of their name and date of birth on their exam timetable before exams start so that we can make any amendments with the exam boards before results day.

In addition to formal assessments in the Sports Hall are those subjects with a practical exam. These subjects also have a piece of work completed in school which contributes to the final grade. Planned dates below – TBC

Expectations for all formal assessment are in line with examination rules -

  • All phones and smart watches must be left in bags / coats which will be locked up outside of the Sports Hall.
  • All long hair must be tied back.
  • There is no communication at all between students when in the Sports Hall.
  • If a student needs help, or has a question, they raise their hand and and invigilator will come and support them. 
  • At the end of the exam, students collect their belongings from outside the Sports Hall and return immediately to classrooms.
